What is UNSCREWED?

Due to dwindling ratings, the Blammo! Network can only afford to keep one of their notorious Saturday morning cartoons on the air, but they can't decide which!

You control the misfit characters from these cartoons in a televised fight to the death, concocting schemes and watching them go hilariously wrong. You'll try to out-scheme each other, using game changing Quirks, and an arsenal of cartoon weaponry to attack each other and survive a map that's out to kill you - all to keep your show from being cancelled.

The last player standing wins!

Pre-Planned Madness!

Simultaneously, players will plan their turns for the round by laying 3 action cards face down on their scheme boards. Then, they'll take turns executing their schemes 1 action at a time.
But be careful! A lot can change quickly, and some actions can turn out drastically different than you expected.

Character Focused Gameplay

In UNSCREWED, the characters are the stars of the show! Each character comes with their own unique Gimmick - an ability that they can trigger when a certain criteria is met. These flavorful abilities provide in-character direction for you to try to secure victory.

Moe Skeeto

Picture
@#%$!
Moe's got anger issues, and living in a can with his overprotective Ma isn't helping. Tune in to "Buzz Off!" to watch Moe deal with his mother's unreasonable hatred for flies and his misbehaving pet flytrap. How could life get any worse?

Playing as Moe is about venting your aggression on  the other players. Every time you hit a player with a normal attack, you get to perform a follow-up swat with his Ma's trusty flyswatter!

Freddy Fraidy

Picture
oh no...
In the show "Afraid So", kids are encouraged to overcome their fears by watching Freddy deal with the horrifying inhabitants of Monster Village. When everything is scary, there's nowhere to hide.

Playing as Freddy is about avoiding the other players. If you end the round without anyone near you, Freddy finds something else to scare him, sending him into a powerful panic that lets you ignore the spaces on the board.

Slappy

:)
Everyone LOVES Slappy, and they love his show "Slap Happy", where Slappy makes friends happy! Sometimes Slappy's friends go away, but he always finds more!

Playing as Slappy is about choosing one player to be your friend and chasing them to the ends of the earth! If Slappy runs into his friend, his friend gets pushed - FAR.

Dr. Piddles

Picture
My program far exceeds the half-baked drivel of those drooling simpletons.
Every week, "The Fantastic Machinations of Dr. Piddles" showcases a new scheme to get rid of that meddlesome old lady. Unfortunately, the best laid plans can go horribly wrong - and they do, every time.

Playing as Dr. Piddles is about making a plan and sticking to it. Every round, you choose a space you intend to occupy when the round ends. Every time you succeed, you gain a "Master Plan" card - a powerful and permanent addition to your scheme that lets you choose your actions on the fly. Get all three master plans, and it's doomsday for your opponents.

The Mad Cow

Picture
Quack!
Romance, horror, soap opera, or musical, "Udder Mayhem" episodes are impossible to predict. The only regular in this barnyard is the Mad Cow.

Playing as the Mad Cow is about embracing randomness. Every time you would take an action, you can Confuse yourself instead, randomizing the action you take and earning yourself a hole token. If you survive until the end of the round, you can spend your accrued hole tokens on "The Wheel of Chaos" to rain down eclectic effects and make things worse for everyone.

An Ever-Shrinking Board

With every round that passes, things get more and more tense! Hazardous rings shrink the board from the outside in - ruining the day of anyone in their path and bringing players closer and closer to each other.

Inspired by all the weird 90's cartoons you grew up watching, every inch of the game is dripping in beautiful, toon-themed artwork.
